Prime 1 Care offers comprehensive incontinence management tailored to each participant’s specific needs. We assist with various types of incontinence, including stress, urge, overflow, functional, mixed, and transient incontinence.

Stress Incontinence causes urine leakage during activities like coughing or lifting, often due to weak pelvic muscles from childbirth, menopause, or aging. Treatment includes pelvic exercises, lifestyle changes, or surgery.

Urge Incontinence involves sudden, intense urges to urinate, often linked to bladder infections, neurological issues, or diabetes. It is managed with bladder training, medications, or Botox.

Overflow Incontinence occurs when the bladder doesn’t empty completely, leading to constant dribbling. Causes include blockages, nerve damage, or weak bladder muscles. Treatment involves catheters, medications, or surgery.

Functional Incontinence results from physical or cognitive impairments like arthritis or dementia, making it difficult to reach the bathroom. Management includes addressing limitations, accessible environments, and continence products.

Mixed Incontinence combines stress and urge incontinence symptoms. Treatment includes pelvic exercises, bladder training, medications, or surgery.

Transient Incontinence is temporary, caused by reversible factors like UTIs or medications, and resolves with treatment of the underlying issue.

Diagnosis uses bladder diaries, exams, and tests to determine the cause. Treatments include behavioral therapies, medications, surgery, or continence products, tailored to improve bladder control and quality of life.

Prime 1 Care provides personalized incontinence management to help individuals maintain comfort and independence.
